Jammin’ Blog by Rob Crowther
It's a new year , and a great time to reflect on what felt like a roller coaster 2020 year.
First and foremost, we are so happy to be able to continue teaching our Big Beat families via studio CDC regulations put into place including constant cleaning, curtains, social distancing, sanitation, sanitizer and more. We're also happy to be able to safely teach out students via online lessons. Week in and week out we are so thrilled to be able to see our students in any capacity.
As a longtime teacher at Big Beat I will say it's truly amazing to see our students continue to learn and grow while adjusting to the, "New normal." These kids continue to bring enthusiasm, dedication, hard work and smiles!! I know it certainly makes my day easier, as I honestly can say I love going into work every single day. And why would I not? Every day I get to play drums in our high tech studios with bubbles, lights, tv screens and more!!
"If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life!!"
I'd very much publicly like to thank Mr. Joe Nevolo and staff for allowing us to continue to work while doing everything they can to keep us safe. It never goes unnoticed.
We'd also like to thank all the families that continue to come to Big Beat, whether in studio or online. We will always do our best to keep moving forward as I may or may not know of some big plans in store for 2021. I also know that Mr. Nevolo always has some new musical icon statues waiting to greet you outside our door and always has a new toy or two for the his studio. Stay tuned for announcements regarding our annual showcase, merit awards, rock star achievements, and other promotions.
Until Next Time Stay Safe, and ALWAYS REMEMBER TO.... Keep on Jammin!! - Rob
