May is a very busy month for all of us here at Big Beat!! We are excited to be returning to Ocean Avenue in Spring Lake, NJ, ahead of the 2023 Spring Lake 5 Mile Run on Saturday May, 27th.

Last year our drumline, The Snare Devils were able to encourage thousands of runners with their beats during the last quarter mile of the race. The runners were very appreciative to hear beats from "We Will Rock You" , The "Hey Song", "WipeOut" , and lots more. I remember seeing so many smiles on everyone's faces as many would exclaim, "We need more cowbell!"

Additionally, The Big Beat Annual Showcase is on the horizon, scheduled for August 27th at Neptune City Memorial Park in Neptune City, NJ.  The event will consist of four shows of student performances throughout the entire day including performances from our Big Beat Rock Band and Snare Devils drum ensemble.  More information on the showcase can be found right here in our previous blog:  https://bit.ly/3Monhu3
